Antrim Fly Fair

Owen Trill from the Claddagh Galway on the banks of the Corrib Estuary, started his fishing 36yrs ago. He has been tying salmon and seatrout flies 30yrs, that catch fish worldwide.

He ties variations of salmon and seatrout flies, his own patterns which are carried and tested in Ireland, the UK and all over the world. Owen also ties flies for Sean Carty of Land and Sea Sports in Bundoran, Donegal, beside the river Drowse.

Owen is a member of the Galway Fly Tying Guild and is affiliated with Ahrex Hooks. He is passionate about tying flies that work to catch fish and for the love of it. Owen is looking forward to the First Antrim Fly Fair which will be incorporated into The Irish Game and Country Fair @ Shanes Castle.
